Karen Simasek-Santos grew up in Orange County and currently lives in Maitland with her husband, four children, 5 dogs and 2 cats. She is a community advocate for the environment and for pedestrian safety. When she was 4 years old, she adopted her first dog from OCAS. During the early 1990s, she participated in Orange County’s trap, spay/neuter, release programs for community cats.
Elise Breth is a wife, mother, and community volunteer who has a passion for helping people and pets. She serves on the board of directors for the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools and has held numerous board leadership positions for education and philanthropic organizations. Elise loves animals and currently has a rabbit (Daisy) and adopted dog (Enzo). Both Enzo and Daisy love to eat treats and are showered with attention daily by their family.

Marty is a CPA in Orlando who grew up in Winter Park and currently lives in Maitland. When Marty isn’t working, he’s hanging out with his boys, 3 humans and 1 canine. His dog (Buddy) was adopted from OCAS last summer and loves to jump in Marty’s backyard pond and run around chasing footballs.

Her furry child (Lilly Grace) makes frequent appearances in her social media design posts & videos as she is the perfect “pawsitive influencer” for the benefits of pet adoption.

Owen Santos is attending University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. He was born and raised in Orange County, FL where he graduated from Winter Park High School. He is dedicated to his rescue dogs and cats.
