The organization requesting the donation must be an active 501(c)(3). Please submit with this completed application a current copy of your 501(c)(3) acceptance letter to treasurer@dogandcatfoundation.org.
Applicants may be required to submit further documentation.
The organization requesting the donation must be a registered Orange County Animal Services Rescue Partner and/or must be using the money to achieve one or more of the following missions or programs:
to rescue homeless or unwanted dogs and cats from Orange County Animal Services with the ultimate intent to place them with caring and responsible pet owners in a foster or furever home.
to attempt to promote empathy for homeless dogs and cats throughout or in an area of the Orange County, FL community.
to engage in charitable and educational activities to assist OCAS and its Rescue Partners.
to purchase, rent and/or install safe, adequate, professionally made fencing, crate or playpen equipment made of renewable materials in order to keep dogs and cats humanely and safely housed for the sole purpose of fostering.
Dog and Cat Foundation will work directly only with OCAS and its Rescue partners or Rescues whose missions coincide with Dog and Cat Foundation of Orange County, FL.
In exchange for assistance, the applicant, once approved and after completion of the Foundation’s agreed upon obligations, agrees to provide within a reasonable and timely manner a short description and/or photo(s) or video(s) of how the money was used to help homeless dogs and cats. These descriptions and photos may be used by Dog and Cat Foundation of Orange County, FL for the purpose of promoting its mission to save more dogs and cats in Orange County and promote empathy in our community. These images may be used online, in letters or other promotional materials.
